Birthdays

My friend J is turning 40 this year. She's having a spa-day party and bought a bunch of my flower notebooks as favors. She'd asked me to personalize them, but because I don't have any room in my production schedule for custom work right now, I offered to make her personalized tags instead. Can I tell you how much I love clear label paper? Well, I do. If they'd had the stuff when I was a kid, I could have spent my allowance on that instead of on Mrs. Grossman's stickers.

I've been a bad blogger lately. Between the holidays and a yucky (and seemingly never-ending) cold, I just haven't had the energy. But I'm starting to feel like myself now. I even ventured out to the studio today. And I ran into a studio friend who had left for college a few months ago but who came back this weekend to screenprint lobsters. And other stuff, I'm sure. We're talking about sharing a booth at Renegade in the summer. Lobsters and shoes will make funny - but good - boothmates.

Well, back to work. Renegade is only two weeks away and my inventory is low. I'm not sure how that happened; I must have sold a lot recently. I'm not complaining about that at all...
